Won't happen next year. I think the line gets crossed when we're no longer showing "expertise" but "product" primarily. I think when people hear "buy my product" and are not hearing about the cool things you're doing, they should use the two foot rule. Chris, I remember the beer session, I don't see that as a "pitch".

Re: BarCamp Tampa Bay

I agree, Chris. People doing cool stuff is cool... I think maybe emphasize the "two feet" rule more.. :)

Re: BarCamp Tampa Bay

I have a feeling I know who it was. But also, at what point is it not a product pitch and it's actually just a presentation?

For instance, I wouldn't put wearetampabay as a product pitch, but it was Brian and Dan trying to spread the word of their redesigned app, for sure...

Also, last year's BCTampa, I talked about my passion of beer and also released Hopvault, which would definitely be a "product pitch" in the end, as I was trying to spread awareness and gain uses to my new site.

What's the fine line between those two examples and our accused product-pitcher?

Re: BarCamp Tampa Bay

Carl, sorry I though I already replied in Disqus. I felt that way often when I ran BidWayUSA and Computer Needs, Inc. - always felt there was more to do and could never fall asleep. On the rare occasion I felt that I had accomplished enough in that day to turn off my mind and relax for the evening. Those days were far and few between. It's perfectly normal. If you didn't feel that way I would question your resolve to be an entrepreneur! Go for the gold Sean.
